Magic sounds
Listen to the sound being played through the speaker. Then listen as Cat conjures the words on the table. Select the object that contains the target sound.
Click the speaker to hear the target sound again or click Cat to hear the words again.
Use 'Letters and their sounds settings' to select a bank of sounds. Progress through the content as your phonics teaching programme dictates. Our default phoneme order is Letters and Sounds, but Jolly Phonics is an option under 'Setup's phonics settings'.
Teaching tips:
Develop listening skills using this activity, ready to move onto reading and spelling words. This activity works well when using ‘Sound snacks’ or ‘Letter box’.
