Adventure Tutorial 2
Tutorial 2 introduces some new elements to Beard Man's Adventures. Children can use the Speed up button to make a long program go faster when testing their program.
They will also learn how to get Beard Man to move gems around the chambers.
Discussion points
- Using a 'Repeat' block can make a program shorter.
- Beard Man must be standing over a gem to pick it up.
- Beard Man must be standing over a receiver to put a gem down.
- A gem receiver has an indicator that tells Bead Man how many gems it needs.
